Your privacy, in plain language
We built SellFinch to be useful and respectful of your privacy. Here’s exactly what it does and doesn’t do with data.

What the extension reads
SellFinch reads the public Etsy data on the pages you’re already viewing — the same information any visitor can see (such as price, reviews, listing age, and favorites) — to produce its estimates and analytics. This processing happens in your browser, on the pages you choose to open.
What it does not do
- It does not connect to, log into, or post to your Etsy shop or account.
- It does not ask for your Etsy password or account credentials.
- It does not read private messages, order details, or any non-public data.
- It does not sell your personal information — ever.
Information we collect
- Account & billing: if you upgrade to Pro or Lifetime, we collect your email address and the subscription/payment status needed to provide the plan. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Usage: we may record how many lookups you’ve used (to apply plan limits) and basic, anonymized product analytics to improve SellFinch.
- Website analytics: this website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic. You can block it with any standard analytics blocker.
- Contact: if you email us or use our contact form, we keep your message and email address to reply.
Service providers we use
We share the minimum data necessary with trusted providers that help us run SellFinch: Stripe (payment processing), Google Analytics (website analytics), and our email/hosting providers. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep account and billing records for as long as you have an account and as required for tax and legal purposes, then delete or anonymize them. Anonymized usage analytics may be retained to improve the product.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you can cancel a paid plan at any time. Just contact us and we’ll take care of it.

SellFinch uses public Etsy data and the Etsy API but is not affiliated with, endorsed, or certified by Etsy, Inc. “Etsy” is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. All estimates are provided for research purposes and are not exact figures.
